Un&#8217;occasione emozionante per studiare questo vulcano dalle caratteristiche Il Vesuvio geologiche esplosive o effusive che vive uno stato di quiete dal 1944. Nel 2012 la sua altezza, era di 1.281 metri. Spunta come monte conico all&#8217;interno di una caldera di circa 4 km di diametro. Il ciglio circolare della caldera \u00e8 ci\u00f2 che resta dell&#8217;edificio vulcanico del Monte Somma, ossia l&#8217;antico vulcano che gener\u00f2 la grande eruzione del 79 d.C. Il Vesuvio \u00e8 considerato oggi l&#8217;unico vulcano attivo di tutta l&#8217;Europa continentale e detiene il primato di essere\u00a0uno dei vulcani pericolosi pi\u00f9 studiati al mondo. La sua pericolosit\u00e0 deve essere essenzialmente motivata dal fatto che nelle sue vicinanze abitano circa 700.000 persone.\u00a0Nel 1997 il Vesuvio con il circuito del Miglio d&#8217;Oro ha
