Nell\u2019aria fresca di quella mattina primaverile era ancora possibile avvertire le sottili fragranze dei tanti odori provenienti dai giardini, di cui allora la citt\u00e0 era ancora ricca. Cos\u00ec, si salivano le scale della \u201cciucciara\u201d, scale oggi distrutte per permettere il passaggio delle auto, e si poteva ancora mirare il borghetto sulla destra dalla caratteristica architettura vesuviana.
