La documentazione, rinvenuta nel 1845 durante lo sgombero di Castel Capuano in uno stipetto della stanza dei quinternoni, tratta vicende storiche di vario carattere dal 1268 al 1789. Nel fondo sono presenti lettere della Regina Margherita di Durazzo, Luigi IV D\u2019Angi\u00f2, Re Ladislao, Carlo VIII, Luigi XII di Francia, il Doge di Venezia Nicola da Ponte, il Doge Pasquale Cicogna e altri.
