Sette secoli di storia, circa <span data-scayt_word=\"ventiduemila\" data-scaytid=\"1\">ventiduemila<\/span> opere, tra oreficerie, argenterie, tessuti, legni e quadri che neppure Napoleone Bonaparte <span data-scayt_word=\"os\u00f2\" data-scaytid=\"2\">os\u00f2<\/span> depredare. Il Tesoro di San <span data-scayt_word=\"Gennaro\" data-scaytid=\"3\">Gennaro<\/span>, nato dall&#8217;immensa gratitudine dei napoletani per la protezione concessa dal Santo alla citt\u00e0 minacciata dalla peste, dalla guerra e dal Vesuvio, vanta gioielli di valore inestimabile come la Collana in oro, argento e pietre preziose, realizzata da Michele Dato nel 1679, la Mitra, in argento dorato con diamanti, rubini, smeraldi e due granati, creata da Matteo <span data-scayt_word=\"Treglia\" data-scaytid=\"4\">Treglia<\/span> nel 1713, della quale ricorre quest&#8217;anno il terzo centenario e i due candelieri in argento di oltre tre metri e mezzo d\u2019altezza donati da Carlo III di <span data-scayt_word=\"Borbone\" data-scaytid=\"5\">Borbone<\/span>. Un enorme patrimonio realizzato dal talento e dalla fantasia di grandi artisti e incrementato attraverso le donazioni di re, di papi, di uomini illustri e dei <span data-scayt_word=\"venticinquemila\" data-scaytid=\"6\">venticinquemila<\/span> milioni di devoti sparsi nel mondo.
