E quell\u2019incontro emozionante, che inizio nel secolo XVIII, continua ancora oggi, donando a piene mani a noi oggi, il senso della conoscenza e di quello che definirei oggi come metodo di conoscenza e liturgia del sapere. Un incontro al quale nessuno dovrebbe sottrarsi.<\/p>\n<p><i>Di tutte le catastrofi che si sono abbattute sul mondo, nessuna ha provocato tanta gioia alle generazioni future. <\/i><\/p>\n<p>Nel bellissimo testo <i>Italienische Reise<\/i>, il <i>Viaggio in Italia<\/i> che Johann Wolfgang von Goethe scrisse tra il 1813 e il 1817, \u00e8 contenuta questa frase. Terribile, gelida se vogliamo, ma sintetica e dai contenuti non affatto celebrativi, ma altissimo valore culturale. In questo asserto che definirei quasi commovente \u00e8 racchiuso il senso stesso della scoperta che si sublima nel concetto allargato di conoscenza e cultura.
